As the wife of a naval aviator in sunny Pensacola, Florida, Liv Tulley eagerly anticipates the first Christmas in several years with her husband, daughter, and extended family. Then her husband is unexpectedly deployed for an undetermined amount of time, smashing her white Christmas dreams to pieces. Can she find God’s peace in the midst of life’s pieces?
I loved the story of Liv, Matt and their young daughter Chesney. They are a family bound by love, faith and honor.
I loved the emotional storyline and could easily understand the feelings that Liv was feeling. Not because of anything I had in common with her but because of how well written the book is and the well defined the characters are.
What should have been a wonderful day to celebrate great news becomes quite opposite in the reality of this military family.
I won’t spoil the story for anyone but it’s safe to say that when you read this book, you’ll be caught up in the plot and characters in this latest release by Cathy Bryant.
It’s a book that you will recommend to family, friends and neighbors.
I was given a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.
