Joyful by Shelley Shepard Gray (review by guest reviewer Casey Cameron)

Both the Beiler and Knox families have their share of problems throughout this book. I loved seeing the romance slowly develop between Randall Beiler and Elizabeth Nolt. Throughout I found myself pulling for the Knox family to get the desires of their hearts. Shelley, as usual, does an awesome job helping you visualize what is happening in every scene. There were several times I wanted to reach into the scene and tell Randall to shape up and realize what a gem he had in his girlfriend, Elizabeth. Eventually he realizes how good he has it and commits himself fully to her. By the end of the book the Knox family situation improves and they have their heart’s desire, but it doesn’t come to them for the best reason. Again Shelley has earned 5 stars from me on another one!

Joyful is the third book in the Return to Sugarcreek series (published 2014).
